Of Cribs and Quilts

TJ here -
So, I've got a pretty sweet mother-in-law.  Kaylynn made me this awesome Star Wars quilt.   She dropped it by last night and it is really cool. She went on Ebay to get the sheet that she used.  That's O.G. Star Wars, baby!  No Jar-Jar, senate debates, or Greedo shooting first.  The best thing about the blanket is that the human characters don't really look like their movie counterparts.  The quilt still kicks all kinds of butt from here to Sunday.
Also, you can see the quilt in the picture is draped over our son's crib.  Jim and Kaylynn helped us pick it up from Burlington today.  It's their gift for the baby. It didn't take me too long to put it together - I guess I'm not completely mechanically inept.  We've got a mattress and everything for it, too.  Jamilynn didn't like my plywood plank idea for our kid's sleeping arrangements.  Well, we're getting things ready for the kid.

  1. That quilt is awesome!! Hey, if you guys want, I have an old-school Star Wars sheet and pillowcase (got it at a garage sale for $0.25). If you want it I'll send it to you! It looks similar to your quilt. I can email a pic if you want.
